The M-Audio Keystation 49es MK2 is a 49-note USB MIDI controller keyboard, offering a lightweight and portable keyboard complete with music creation software.
The M-Audio Keystation 49es MK2 features 49 velocity-sensitive, synth-action keys as well as modulation and pitch bend wheels. There are octave up and down buttons for selecting the keyboard's note range, an Edit Mode button and a Volume control. The unit's back panel has connections for a USB 2.0 cable to connect to a PC or Mac to power the keyboard as well as for transferring MIDI data. There's also a jack socket for connecting a sustain pedal.
The Keystation 49es MK2 comes with an activation card for downloading Avid's Ignite music creation software and getting started using the Keystation right away. Ignite features over 275 virtual instruments, designed to inspire and get your creative juices flowing. Ignite has been streamlined to load quickly while still providing a great amount of features, including Chord Player, Phrase Player and Flexible Arpeggiator.
