Yamaha CPX1200II TB elektro-akustična kitara
Yamaha CPX 1200 II Translusent Black, vrhunska elektro-akustična kitara
The new flagship of the superb CPX electro-acoustic range, the brand new CPX1200II sounds phenomenal and features several new electronic features to make performing or recording even easier.
As an acoustic guitar, the CPX1200II is already stunning. A solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides gives a warm, full bodied sound whilst the ebony fretboard and mahogany neck give fantastic playability.
But what really sets it apart from other electro-acoustics is the Studio Response Technology...
Typically, the sound from the jack output on an electro-acoustic guitar doesn't really sound like an acoustic guitar - though quite different to a solid-body electric, the typical sound from an electro-acoustic has a characteristic thinness and nasal quality; very different to the true acoustic sound.
Studio Response Technology or SRT - the result of countless recording sessions and R&D work - puts the natural, ambient sound of an acoustic guitar back through the output socket to give you the best ever direct-out sound from an electro-acoustic guitar.
SRT System
Yamaha's new proprietary Studio Response Technology (SRT) brings back the natural, ambient sound of an acoustic guitar, and it does it with the signal from the output jack. Using a sound modeling technique that utilizes data obtained through extensive analysis of four acoustic elements that are missing from conventional pickup systems- string and body resonance, ambience, vintage microphone characteristics, and professional micing techniques, SRT delivers a natural, studio-quality acoustic guitar tone. The same tone that, until now, was only attainable by professional recording engineers in the world's finest studios is now easily usable by any player, on-stage or in the studio.Using a sound modeling technique that utilizes data obtained through extensive analysis of four acoustic elements that are missing from conventional pickup systems- string and body resonance, ambience, vintage microphone characteristics, and professional micing techniques, SRT delivers a natural, studio-quality acoustic guitar tone. SRT Functions
The new SRT system lets you choose from three different high-end mic types as well as two mic positions that let you use techniques similar to those used in a recording studio. The system provides a total of six setting patterns. Click the buttons below the photos to hear the differences between various sound settings.
The system also allows mixing of pickup and mic sound elements using the BLEND knob, and control of body resonance with the RESONANCE knob to create a wide range of rich, natural sounds.
Secret to Good Sound
The SRT system is powered by two AA batteries instead of the more common PP3. Using an internal circuit to boost the batteries voltage to 11V reduces distortion, even when the batteries are low, and creates a wider dynamic range. With traditional 9V designs, the voltage soon drops to 8V and gradually decreases from there (average operating voltage in a PP3 system is 7.5V). This lower voltage produces disadvantages such as unstable operation and distortion - especially noticeable with SRT's studio quality tone. SRT's power circuitry provides stable operation nearly up to the time battery power is depleted, giving you better tone for longer.
